Meet Melissa, the writer who posts on the Quality Built Exteriors blog.  Melissa has written about homes and decorating since 2005.

She previously was managing editor of the products division of Colonial Williamsburg, where she wrote for their catalog, website and product hangtags—coming up with ideas on how to use 18th-century-inspired home goods in interior and exterior decorating.

Melissa has also written for:

But what really has fueled her passion for beautiful homes was her grandmother, whose traditional Southern home in Atlanta was the source of many inspirations. She and her husband bought their current home in Yorktown in 2008, transforming the exterior from bland to breathtaking... including a new roof and deck by Quality Built Exteriors. She continues to live there with her husband, son and daughter.
